The Town of Huntingdon was recently awarded a Transportation Planning Grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation to perform a Pavement Survey Assessment of the city’s roadway network.  As part of this project, the consulting firm WSP will be performing field survey work beginning on Tuesday, July 16th.  Their work is anticipated to take approximately 8-10 business days and will involve field crews conducting surveys of the pavement surfaces.  Long-term lane closures or detours will not be required during their activities, but citizens should anticipate short term traffic control impacts to allow the crews to safely perform their work.  Please exercise extra caution when driving in their work areas.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.  We look forward to the completion of their work and its positive impacts on the maintenance of your city’s roadway infrastructure.  Any questions or concerns can be directed to Ronnie Breeden 731-415-9000.
